Ann-Marita Garsed—Country, Folk, and Storytelling With a Scandinavian Flair – Ann-Marita’s winding life path started in rural Norway, and led her to Sweden, Iowa, Los Angeles, and Australia… then back to California. Through the years, she has found her place within the Scandinavian/American community, which has allowed her to travel all over the US performing her unique blend of American country music, Scandinavian folk, and compelling storytelling.
Her music has been heard through such diverse channels as Australian national television, inspirational talk radio station Hay House Radio, numerous Scandinavian festivals across the US, as well as the Hollywood wrap party for the Disney Animation hit movie Frozen. With her first ever performance in Solvang—where she instantly felt at home, by the way—Ann-Marita will be sharing heartfelt stories and songs from both sides of the pond in a solo acoustic, intimate setting.
