Santa Barbara Half Marathon – The only half marathon in the historic Danish town of Solvang, CA in the Santa Ynez Valley. Presented by Chumash Casino Resort, May 10, 2025.
This exciting route takes you through the Santa Ynez Valley and finishes in Solvang with a post-race wine festival.
Choose to run the half marathon on your own, or partner with a running buddy and join as a two-person relay to tackle it together!
Marathon Schedule
Join us for an exhilarating weekend of running and festivities at the Solvang Half Marathon & 2nd Leg Relay! The action kicks off on Friday, May 10, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM, at Solvang Park for the Race Expo and Packet Pick-Up. It’s your chance to collect your race bib, event shirt, and gather essential race information—all for free and open to the public. Browse exhibitor booths, enjoy samples, and indulge in merchandise sales before the big day.
The excitement continues on Friday, May 9, 2025, with the Race Start at 565 Atterdag Rd, Solvang, CA, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Start your 13.1-mile journey just blocks away from Solvang’s charming center. Stop by Solvang Park pre-race for gear check, warm-up, and restroom facilities. Relay participants can catch a shuttle to the Relay Transition Zone from 6:30 AM to 7:15 AM.
Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 7:00 AM. Don’t miss the Post-Race Wine Festival at Solvang Park (1639 Copenhagen Dr, Solvang, CA 93463). Celebrate your accomplishment in style with tastings from local wineries. Participants aged 21 and above can purchase tickets for this delightful post-race experience.
