Margerum Wine Company, based in the Santa Ynez Valley, in California, crafts exceptional wines that reflect the region’s unique terroir. Established by winemaker Doug Margerum in 2001, the winery focuses on producing small batches of high-quality wines. Embracing sustainable farming practices, Margerum sources grapes from select vineyards throughout Santa Barbara County, renowned for its diverse microclimates and soil types.

Specializing in Rhône varietals, Margerum Wine Company offers a diverse portfolio of wines, including Grenache, Syrah, and Viognier, among others. Each wine is meticulously crafted to express the characteristics of the grape variety and the terroir where it’s grown.

The winery’s tasting rooms, located in downtown Santa Barbara, and in Los Olivos, provides visitors with an opportunity to experience Margerum’s wines in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Guests can enjoy tasting flights and learn about the winemaking process from knowledgeable staff members.

In addition to its tasting room, Margerum Wine Company offers an online store, allowing customers to purchase their favorite wines conveniently. Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or new to the world of wine, Margerum wines offer an exceptional taste of Santa Barbara County’s vibrant wine scene.

Our temperature controlled winemaking facility in Buellton is now open to the public for tasting on Saturdays and Sundays from Noon – 5.

Taste our M5 Rhone Blend, Sybarite Sauvignon Blanc, UBER Syrah, Riviera Rosé, Syrahs, Grenache, AMARO, and other acclaimed wines. Taste and learn about the wines from our knowledgeable staff and see where the wines are made.
